how much will it cost to have an 08' Expedition radio display screen replaced?
I left the sunroof open and the rain damaged the radio screen along with the buttons to it. The on/off button which is also the volume dial still works, but it won't display the time/radio station/etc. And the buttons to change the media doesn't work either. The digital screen for the temperature below that still works and I can still listen to the radio/sirius satellite/cd player/etc. I just have to control it by using the steering wheel buttons for it or the controls in the backseat.
My question is, how much would replacing something like this cost from the dealership?
you would have to go to the dealer for that probably. and any time you go to the dealer, it will be expensive. Not sure how much it would be to get another factory radio tho.
i would use this opportunity to get a new headunit. you can get one that was even better, and it might be cheaper.
