What else can i do to my engine/drivetrain to get more horses?
I have a 1972 Nova SS and want more horses out of it. Here is what I have.
350 bored 60 over
Flattop pistons
Stock crank and rods
300hp heads w/ mild port work
2.02 in & 1.60 ex valves
wolverine cam 292 dur w/ .480 lift
Edelbrock high rise air gap intake
Holley 600cfm vacuum secondary carb
k&n breather
ceramic coated headers
Dual flowmasters
What else can I do? or what else would you do?
in regard to answer one...
the engine has been sprayed before. i know it can handle it... only thing is i am already pushing 450hp on engine alone...hahaha
regard to answer two...
the carb is tuned (one of my good friends is a carb specialist and i have a 3000 stall in it that is tuned just right..
street car that i drive everyday and i can still run 8 flats at the 1/8mile drag strip
honestly, it sounds like you have a really nice engine. I wouldn't do anything, but if your really interested in more horsepower maybe install a blower or a supercharger.
