I bought parts to build a computer. But I am having a problem with the case's chords and motherboard working.?
Hi, I recently ordered parts to build a computer. I have everything assembled. But for some reason, I can't find the chord that connects from the power button on the case to the motherboard (system panel header socket). Since I can't find that chord, I'm not able to power on the computer because I can't push the button. I have one chord that is coming from the case that doesn't have a match. It is the IEEE 1394. I would really like to get my computer powered on.. Please help!

Get a flashlight and double-check your PN1 and PN2 connectors. It's very easy to get those tiny connectors backwards.
Generally the black, or white, wire is your ground wire, and the colored wire is your power wire.
It's possible that one of your smaller connections on your board is not set right. Get your motherboard manual to double-check if everything is connected properly.
As a last resort, you can call NewEgg. They have great customer support.
