I have those tall and wide "push" switches and they are hard to push.

disconnect the power at the panel. Take the face plate off. Remove the two screws, top and bottom. Pull the switch out of the wall. Note where the wires are attached. Remove them. Place them on the new switch. Push it back into the wall. Screw it tight and level. Replace cover. Turn power on. SUCCESS!
