How to prepare the wires for my PC fan controller?
I recently purchased a new Zalman 6 channel fan controller and it comes with 4 standard 3 pin male to female plugs for case fans. Now it also comes with 2 switched for 5v or 12v or off and i was wondering how to set that up? I know you have to put the red and black into a socket type thing and tighten a screw much like a speaker but what i want to know is do you just cut the red and black from the connector on the fan from the red black and yellow. If so what do you do with the yellow wire on the fan just leave it dangling? Anything will help here thank you in advance!
